Food Art

Well in this blog I'm going to talk about something we all love, FOOD! Well for me I love both food and art so I love it twice as much. Some people may think it's a waste of food but it really depends on what you plan to do.  Like if it's for a party you make the food go along with the theme or you just wanna do something creative with friends and/or family for a snack or dinner. Even if it is being used to make just art not for eating it isn't a waste it is ART. I've never personally tried to make food into art before but I've seen it and it looks fun and cool. But it's tricky picking the right food for your art. Why? When making food into art you have to choose food that will last a good while and not get bad so fast, especially if you plan on eating it after. In my opinion I think it's worth trying I just haven't been able to. Here are some pictures I got to show you wonderful people:

Why do I love Art?

In this blog I wanted to share some stuff about me and why art is a part if my life. My mom told me that when I was about 1 or 2 that once I had a pen and paper they just couldn't get me to stop drawing. I love art personally because it helps me express myself and when I'm not in the brightest mood it helps me feel better and clear my mind. I love two kinds of arts though. I love drawing and I love singing. Both of those make me who I am. I may not be the best at the two but it is still who I am and no matter what anyone says I will always do those two things.  Art is just so beautiful and expressive I don't know how anyone could not like either music or art.  I hope one day to be able to either make my own beautiful art and make my own music. Here are some of my drawings I don't mind sharing with you:

Mandala Art

Mandala Art is very colorful and pretty but it depends on the person on how stressful it can be to make on.  In my art class we are doing mandalas and I would say that it is pretty fun for me. In a Mandala you find many different patterns and it looks pretty difficult to do. The steps to making a Mandala is to measure a triangle to the shape of the paper you're drawing it on make it to where the triangle is able to flip and rotate 6 or 8 times. (You're going to have to do some math to measure it all out right to be able to make it work.) On that triangle you make a design. Once you have that design you use a light box or some sort to trace your design to the back side of the triangle. Once you have that you get carbon tracing paper. You trace over your drawing on the carbon paper that's lied on top of the paper you are putting your Mandala on then you flip and rotate to get the pattern design. Once you got your Mandala done you color it how ever you wish. If I wasn't able to give clear instructions I'm sorry I tried my best to teach you what I learned from my art class. Here are some example mandalas I got off google because my Mandala isn't finished.

Thomas Kinkade

William Thomas Kinkade III was a painter of popular realistic, pastoral, and idyllic subjects. He is notable for the marketing of his work as printed reproductions and other licensed products at the Thomas Kinkade Company. I never heard of this artist before but thanks to a friend of mine she showed me him. He is amazing with his work. The way he sets his darks and lights and how he mixes his colors. His work is just beautiful.

Oil painting

Okay let's just start with how much I love oil paintings 😍💖. They are just so beautiful and the colors just pop and show so much emotion. It's so amazing what people can do with oil paints. I hope one day to learn. But, one thing about oil paint is that it is slow when it comes to drying and I'm not good with that once I'm into it and giving it my all I gotta keep going it's hard to do that with oil paints. Oil paint consist of particles of pigment suspended in drying oil, commonly linseed oil, and varnish may be added to increase the glossiness of the dried oil paint.  Here are some paintings I found beautiful. Hope you like them as much as I do.

Music is Art

Music is an Art. It's just a musician expressing their feelings through song and lyrics instead of with objects.  Music is how people show character. You have to really listen to the words in the song to know the meaning to know the feelings. Some people might connect with music just like people do with art pieces. It is a very beautiful thing.  I myself love art and music both things make me who I am.  Some people only have one of those things that define who they are. Most teens and adults I know connect more with music than actual art pieces.  There's nothing wrong with it at all either. They're just both very beautiful arts.

Art is Everywhere

Art is EVERYWHERE!! Look to your left there is art, look to your right there is art, and look in front of you there is art. Art is just that amazing. It can be made out of everything and anything. It all depends on your point of view on things to consider what you think is art and what isn't but in reality it's ALL art. People make art out of pens and pencils, paper, rocks, beads, food, clothes,  etc.  Some people get junk and make art out of it in the most creative and most beautiful ways.  I love it!! It shows creativity and character people have.  It's amazing what you can do with anything to make art. Not everyone will like it though, everyone has different point of views.  Here's are some different art projects:
in this lovely art work the artist used make up to create different tones to create this women.

in this piece of art work the artist used plastic spoons and forks, straws, caps,  etc.

in this art work the artist used junk mail to create this beauty.

Abstract Art

Abstract art uses many different forms of shape, colors and lines to create a composition which may exist with a point of independence from visual references. I myself love abstract art it is fun, colorful, and eye catching. You can do so much with abstract art and it isn't rocket science either. If you really put your mind to it you can do it.  Abstract is something easy to start with when to get into drawing or painting. It's what I started off with and I've become pretty good with drawing myself. It's all about creativity; you got to have just the right amount of imagination. Here are a few images of abstract art.

Micro-sculptor

I found this artist, Willard Wigan, who does micro art. His is work fascinating and amazing. I never heard of him before till recently and decided to share this amazing artist with you all.  His art work is so tiny it fits in the eye of a needle. I would have never thought of that as possible. His art work is very tiny but yet very detailed and looks amazing.  I hope you guys enjoy his work as much as I do. Here's a link that shows a page of his work and talks more about him and his work.   https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://originalpaints.com/nanosculptures-of-willard-wigan/&ved=0ahUKEwiXop_ziunSAhUH32MKHQu9BVIQFggcMAA&usg=AFQjCNGNVbd9bxI5_2mkDwIzdpKMRWIjkA&sig2=FYJEMrq0uxkwHGt3jDq4RQ

I chose to make my blog on Art because it's something you can find everywhere in anything.  Art is amazing, beautiful, and helps bring out character in people. I've always found and interest in art and objects. I love drawing and looking at art works it's always been a major interest of mine.
Readers should expect to read about different kinds of art, the beauty in it, and how it helps bring out character.
I plan to communicate with readers by finding out there interest or showing them different types of art.
My suggestions for readers so they could join discussion are to look at art books or look up some art websites.
